This is why in middle school, these were things I was allowed to wear in the house with other tweens and young teens, but I was expected to put on full clothing if we went somewhere else. Girls that age probably know that they will get attention from boys. They don’t expect it from 40 year old men. I would sneak out with cropped tops under my t shirt and I’d change into short shorts that would fit in my backpack as soon as no adult was around. I am not a trusting person, even back then. So I didn’t fall for the middle aged men I encountered but some of them scared the shit out of me. Thankfully I got out of these situations, but some were very aggressive. I was not ready for that. I was not prepared for having to physically protect myself. Granted, it’s not much better when a teenager is fully clothed. But people step in to help you if you look like the ‘good girl.’ I wasn’t prepared for having a grown man grab my friend and I, and being treated like we were the ones in the wrong. It’s no different than being in a bikini in a store, when you post that online. It’s absolutely not the same as being at the house without thousands of people viewing. Wearing a bikini at the water park as a teenager is fine because you probably have an adult with you to protect you, and tell you what isn’t going to disappear on a water slide, etc. you don’t know who’s at the park with you but you do know the adult with you when you are a minor. You do know how to get ahold of them if someone else is a problem. Online, you can unfortunately come across someone with hacking skills who then finds you address and shows up at your house when nobody else is there and then you are gone. That’s it. Even if you have alarms and the common sense not to open the door for a stranger (which many teenagers do not because they are literally minors), you shouldn’t have to deal with that.

I think you should reconsider calling essential oils medicine here and "Eastern medicine" is a bad term. I know you were thinking of being or intending to be "respectful" but this contributes to the infantilization of East Asian people and also disregards that millions of East Asian people have contributed to or have been the person/people who have uncovered and developed life-saving advancements in medicine (aka "western medicine), including developing MEDICATIONS, therapies, and VACCINES. I hate going to the dentist sm i havent went in like years. Tbh im just scared they might f up my teeth cuz my teeth are good, theyre straight, whiteish (theyre stained cuz in highschool i was dumb 😭) and no cavities except my baby teeth (i still have a baby tooth actualy but it wasnt one with a cavity lol). I only go for a cleaning but one time they gave me FILLERS 😡. i was so mad cuz ik my teeth kinda dip in? (It like i have a small crater but they just grew like that, it makes my teeth sharp tho) and it was so annoying cuz 1 it felt like i constantly have food or something stuck on my teeth and 2 after it came off it left my teeth MORE sensitive where the filler was. My theory was is that since the filler was in my tooth i couldnt brush my teeth in that spot and since i couldnt brush overtime the other parts of my teeth became stronger and under the filler they became more sensitive, and ik i dont have cavities i would have probably start hurting by now but when i eat sugar or pastries my tooth stings and its also annoying (it doesnt sting when i eat normal food tho only sweets and cold things) so moral of the story dont get fillers either they dont cause damage like cheap veneers but they feel annoying

Most of these are not veneers there crowns. Veneers are only for the anterior teeth, they are like a false nail that is cemented to the buccal surface, they don’t require much removal of the natural tooth, these crown shave off most of your natural tooth.
